The Subscription only release of Cinema 4D S22 brings much needed improvements to UV editing and Viewport imrovements.
On the 20th April 2020 Maxon, the creators of hugely popular 3D modeling, animation and rendering software, announced the release of Cinema 4D Subscription Release R22 (S22). This is the latest incarnation of Maxon’s ever popular 3D application and marks a first for the company as this is their first subscription only release. They say this will offer customers early access to big performance and interactivity improvements including the much need UV editing improvements, an updated viewport and much better support for Metal on macOS. There is also improvements to Cinema 4D’s pipeline with compatibility added for GLTF export, improved GoZ integration with ZBrush, and support for node-based materials in FBX and Cineware. These new features will be rolled out to perpetual license holders later in the year.
